Gold Coast!

When we were in Australia, we decided that we just needed to go up to the Gold Coast! The weather in Sydney was good, but knowing that there was so much sun up there was making us dying to visit!

A family friend of Ellie's let us stay in her old house (which she now rents) which was in Coolangatta and oh my god, it was huge! Coolangatta was so lovely, it had so many different beaches and it was located in a little town which was nice! We were so so lucky to stay in such an amazing place, and it was the perfect getaway!

We took a trip to Surfers Paradise on one of the days we were there, and it was insane! The beaches were amazing, the sand golden and the sea bright blue. It was incredible seeing the skyscrapers overlook the beach. People had told me it was like Miami, and they were right, it really felt like we were there. There was endless things to do there and an incredible range of shops too. Plus the weather was glorious, just as we expected! We even got a little bit of a tan! (Very unlike us to!)

Recent Purchases!

Abbys purchases:

I'm not the biggest bracelet buyer, so when I saw this for only £1.50 in Primark I thought I would make a change and buy it! I tend to only ever wear my watch and pearl bracelet and I've been stuck in that routine for as long as I can remember. I liked this as it is a more unusual shape than a 'typical bracelet' whilst still being quite plain.

I bought these rings at the same time I bought the bracelet, they are from Primark also, for only £3! For 6 rings it can't get better than that. They aren't usually something I would buy yet again, I tend to wear more delicate rings, but the stones are so pretty in these and I feel like I will wear these more often than some of my more expensive ones. As I'm always so scared of losing rings!

I can't believe I got this for £5 in the urban outfitters sale. My parents are always moaning I have 'too many' mugs so I thought, as this is a travel mug, they can't complain! It is of a mug type material (I don't know how to phrase that) rather than being like how most thermo mugs are, so I am slightly scared of dropping and smashing it, I'll just have to be super careful!

Ellies purchases:

These cute little coin purses are from Cotton On, and how sweet are they?! We saw them at the till when we were buying something else from there, and we just had to get them - even cuter that they match! At a great price of $4.50 (around £2.00) how could we resist?

I was looking for a good face scrub/wash for a while - so I decided to go to Lush of course! Herbalism is soooo good, it is an exfoliant however not too rough, so you can use it often. The scrub itself contains almonds which turns into a soft milky texture when mixed with water. It leaves my skin SO soft after I wash it off which is always a winner with me!

This makeup bag just speaks for itself. I constantly battle with lipstick on my teeth - i've tried all the tips and tricks to prevent this from happening but it just never works with me. It's just funny now though! The bag is really spacey and I put all my makeup essentials in here.

This ceramic flask was from Urban Outfitters in the sale. I think it's so great. I probably won't even use it for alcohol, just as a decoration in my bedroom. I really like the cork in the top as it gives it a vintage feel to it. Super cute!

These were such a good find! I have been looking for lights like this for my room - but all the ones I found were such a crazy price... I finally found these little ones from the one and only Home Bargains! I was pleasantly surprised with them. I originally only wanted the arrow but they both looked really cute as a pair so ended up buying them both! They only cost about £5.00 each which I think is super good. I can't wait to properly put them up in my bedroom!
